THE DELIMMA
The days of hand cutting every sticker, sign, or banner to get that perfect edge, size, or shape are over. For us at least. Just like many other sign shops, when you order a batch of Stickers we have a small vinyl cutter that would Kiss Cut the stickers from the backing paper of printed vinyl. But how do you get all those stickers from a large sheet of vinyl to that perfect little sticker that you can hold in your hand? Great question.
Most of the time you must hand cut each printed sticker to make an individual sticker. Some machines have a perforated, also know as a pounce cut feature, that requires you to seperate the sticker from the backing paper. This is a great option but using a perforated cut doesn't leave a clean edge on the backing paper. Now if you’re like me, I am terrible at cutting by hand even if I used a straight edge or paper cutter to trim each sticker. Let’s say you have mastered your knife cutting skills and can get that perfect square corner sticker. How fast are you? Can you cut 1500 Stickers, 2400 Yard Signs, or roughly 264,000 inches of product per hour? No way! We couldn’t either, until now.
WHAT DID WE GET?
We believe in technology and know that in order to give our customers quality products, quick production times, all at a fair price, we must invest in the equipment that can do just that. I went to multiple trade shows and had private demos of similar cutting equipment. I knew we needed equipment that would last us many years to come and was basically much more of a machine then we could currently handle. I didn’t want to buy twice. We ultimately decided on the Multicam Celero 5153c. This machine is a beast. Have you ever wanted a cut out of your favorite football player? How about a yard sign that was shaped like cake to celebrate a birthday? No problem. We can do that.

This machine can run a full shift with very little supervision. This allows our team to focus on customer service, printing, packaging and shipping. We try to focus on Next Day Production and this plays an intricate role. Paring this machine with a UV Flatbed Printer is a perfect marrage. Yes, we have that too! Being able to print directly to substrate followed by cutting the image out on a CNC Cutter is truely amazing. The products and price points we can offer is what makes us differant.
